About us...

Norfolk Tortoise Club is a non profit and voluntary group. We offer support, advice as well as rescue and re homing help with our friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable team. Many of our team have over 40 years experience in tortoises rescue / welfare. The group has been established for nearly 10 years, with over 100 members, we actively encourage tortoise welfare through a wide variety of projects including talks, educational events. All experience levels welcome.

	Constantly promote tortoise welfare in captivity
	Bring tortoise keepers and enthusiasts of all experience levels together
	Actively promote accurate, modern keeping practice in a clear way
	Conduct the club in friendly, pro-active, constructive and non-judgemental manner
	Provide an open opportunity to share knowledge and experiences of keeping
	Promote responsible, healthy breeding and development
	Be at the forefront of the latest advances in tortoise care
	Use network to inform keepers in current trading laws due to their CITES status
