Finding a safe and secure holiday home for your tortoise can be tricky. Standards of care can widely vary, so caution is strongly advised when planning care. Mixing tortoises together can lead to stress, damage and serious illness from cross infection. Secure runs with access to fresh water, correct food, calcium, shelter and heat are also important aspects to consider.The club are able to offer support and advice on choosing from a list of approved locations and arranging safe, bio - secure and knowledgeable holiday care for tortoises.
